2) She was welcoming at the beginning, and told us to relax and feel at home. Throughout our stay she constantly checked up on us, and while outside she would "watch over" us
We rented the "Loft", which was a studio apartment above the garage. The greeting was less than warm. Breakfast is an extra charge, because there is a kitchen. Pillows were flat, furniture wasn't very comfortable. Bring beach towels for the lake. We had a blast using the complimentary paddle boat. The lake was quiet and majestic, really beautiful. We walked and saw many butterflies, dragonflies, and even a little snake. Wonderful property. I give three stars, because advertising was misleading. We got a cabin feel for the bed and breakfast prices. Check in 4pm & out 10am.
4) Last we have small children, that we of course didn't take with us. We were called for a family emergency and had to cut our stay. We were there for less than 24 hours, and she had no sympathy for us and charged us the whole stay.
I had never been to a bed and breakfast before this, and saw the reviews, so my husband and I gave it a try. It was the absolute WORST experience of my life! But let me explain why....
3) The breakfast food was AWEFUL. The food was like what you would get at a gas station. Enough said there.
This ruined any bed and breakfast for my husband and I. I would HIGHLY DISCOURAGE EVER going to this terrible establishment. I would put 0 stars if possible.
1) She has an option to bring your dogs, that was mistake number one. We had to keep our dogs cooped up in our room at all times, except for bathroom breaks. They second we leave our dogs alone, they bark of course. She gave us many "reminders" to keep our dogs quiet. How are we able to do that having them locked up the whole time.
